The Family Houses development is a complex of three separate newly built houses with traditional Cycladic architecture. The complex is at 250 metres distance from the beach, at sea level. View is unblocked. The development is built on three levels and consists of two autonomous and independent houses and a studio.
The West house is a three level house of a total space of 180 sq.m. Main entrance is from level 2 (upper ground floor,1.5m from ground level), and has a spacious living room with a fireplace, kitchen, bathroom, and two bedrooms. An inner staircase provides access to level 1 and 3. Level 1 is ten steps below the ground floor. It does not look like a basement since all of its rooms have large windows, giving the place great sunlight and view to the sea. Level 1 consists of a small living-room, two bedrooms and wc. Although connected to the rest of the house, level 1 has its own private entrance, so it can be easily converted to a totally autonomous flat used as a guest house, if not used as a playroom or part of the whole West house. On the same level (level 1) there is also a single room with its own wc and private entrance which can be used as the maid’s room or as a guest room.
Level 3 consists of two bedrooms and a wc. Levels 2 and 3 have large verandas facing south and west and overlooking the beautiful bay of St Giorgio. All rooms located on level 1 have access to a patio (large open-air veranda) shared with the rooms of level 1 of the East house.
East house is built on three levels as well and consists of two independent houses: house A and B.

House A is 110 sq.m. and covers levels 1 and 2. Main entrance is from level 2, leading to a large living-room with fire place and a kitchen-bar. On the same level house A has two bedrooms. On level 1 there is another living-room, kitchen, bathroom and the third bedroom of the house. Level 1 shares the same patio with the West house.
House B, is on the level 2 of the East house and has its own private entrance through an outside staircase. House B is actually a small flat of 50 sq.m. total space, consisting of a small living-room with en-suite kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms.
The surrounding area is ideal for holidays, as it is quiet and very well protected from strong North winds which usually prevail at the Cyclades Islands during August. There are no bars or clubs nearby, just a couple of family-owned restaurants offering some real good domestic cuisine. The bay of St giorgio has two lovely sandy beaches as well as some interesting caves at the far side of the bay. Renting a small boat with a small engine or even a kayak is a “must-have” if you decide upon having your holidays here. The bay is full of fish, octopus and calamaries (can be tried at the local restaurants as well) and the exploration of the caves and Despotiko island (less than half a mile across the bay) is an everyday magnificent experience.
Despotiko island is totally uninhabited by government law since it is full of pre-hestoric ruins of 4000BC. However visits are allowed and the wilderness of the place is astonishing as well as the small beaches all around.
